Winter Whites

It's here, the dreaded Melbourne winter chill. There is no denying it and no avoiding it (... did someone say euro vacay!?)

There are is a lot I hate about winter, but the fashion is one element I love! The layering, the coats and jackets, the accessories and the many, many needed knits.

At the start of a new season I love to go through my wardrobe to see what old favourites I can bring back from previous years, but I also ensure to make room for my new seasonal favourites.

Good knitwear is my ultimate winter wardrobe staple. I honestly don't think you can have too many knits or jumpers in your life, especially living in Melbourne. Whether it be a big chunky turtle neck or simple pullover, they are super comfy and easy to wear day in, day out.

From cashmere to merino wool, there are countless varying options out there, but this year, there is a huge trend of white sweeping through this winter.

I know white and colour are almost declared as a Melbourne fashion taboo, but a white knit is a great way to blend in something a bit fresher this winter.

I love adding lighter pieces in when styling my winter outfits and I am really excited to show you all how easy it is to wear white in winter and dismiss the rumours that white is just a summer colour.

With this I'm mind, here is one of my favourite staple piece so far this season, the Country Road Cashmere V Neck white knit.

This particular item is beautifully soft in texture, incredibly warm and is getting a serious workout in my wardrobe right now.

When styled correctly, the colour white can really pop and make an outfit quite impressionable.

On Wednesday I will be sharing with you my top 5 styling tips on how to wear the white winter knit and how you can easily recreate my look.
