For this week's style edit, I wanted to continue on with the white theme and discuss how to style the white knit for winter that I shared with you all on Monday.
Knit sweaters are our cosy go to's, however sometimes they don't always look super stylish.
Unless you are curled up on the couch by the fire, you don't want knits to look too oversized and bulky. When styled and fitted correctly, your favourite white knit can be the hero piece of any outfit you create.
Styling tip #1 – Keep it simple during the day by pairing your knit with skinny jeans and sneakers.
Styling tip #2 – If you are feeling that your knit is looking a bit loose, add a belt or scarf and tie around your waist for a more flattering look. Alternatively, you can also tuck the front of the jumper into a pair of high waisted jeans and secure with your favourite buckle belt.
Styling tip #3 – Layering. If your knit is looking a tad too short, add a long blouse underneath with the collar popping at the top for a fresh and crisp finished look.
Styling tip #4 – A pair of heels can go a long way. Swapping your sneakers to heels for a classic evening look.
Styling tip #5 – When we finally get some warmer weather and head into Spring, style your knit with a cute pair of denim shorts.
Styling tip #6 - A great way to take your outfit to the next level is by styling it with some jewellery. My picks would be some layered gold necklace chains.
